Special Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a Special Needs School in Ashford. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with a range of needs, including Autism, SEMH, and sensory processing difficulties.
About the Role:- Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN, focusing on Maths and Phonics skills
- Assess student progress and discuss development with teachers, parents, and external agencies
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
- Experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting
- Teaching Assistant qualification (L2 or L3) or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS clearance and right to work in the UK
- Driving license and vehicle (desirable)
