Job Title: Early Years Tutor/ Assessor

Educated Appointments is delighted to be assisting a Training, Qualifications and Apprenticeship provider in Surrey to recruit an Early Years Tutor/ Assessor.

Job Summary:

This is a hybrid working role, based from home with travel to learners locations bi-monthly. The role will involve 25% tutoring, delivering online workshops mainly to groups but sometimes individuals, and 75% assessing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, deliver and report on your course, using methods and materials appropriate to the learner group and course content.
  • Produce a Scheme of work/syllabus and lesson plans which are made available to the Operations Director, any class visitors or inspectors when required.
  • Prepare/adapt appropriate teaching materials.
  • Identify/assess the needs of learners and if necessary adapt course content and delivery style to meet these needs.
  • Provide appropriate learner feedback and support and educational advice and information where necessary.
  • Create an appropriate and welcoming atmosphere to enable learning to take place.
  • Carry out the administrative tasks required in each programme area.
  • Comply with the company policy on Equality and Diversity so that all learners are treated with respect and dignity in an environment in which a diversity of backgrounds and experience is valued.
