About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Travel Advisor at Hull Railway Station. As the face of TransPennine Express, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our passengers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service to passengers, responding to their queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Sell a range of multi-modal tickets to customers, handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, late finishes, and weekends, to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Assist customers outside the ticket office, providing information and support to ensure a smooth journey.
  • Minimise delays and positively impact the customer experience, contributing to our vision of 'providing a great service every day'.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Ability to speak clearly and confidently, with a strong communication style.
  • CSE A-C grade (or equivalent qualification) in Maths and English.
  • Computer literacy, with the ability to use Microsoft packages.
  • Ability to travel to and from the station without relying on public transport, due to shift start times.
