Based in the UK at their Head Office, the job of Quality Assurance Coordinator is to work as a key part of the Technical team to ensure they meet their obligations with regard to quality and food safety.

About the Role

  • Project specific site visits and product inspections
  • Cold store visits - product inspections
  • Product spot checks on supplier/customer
  • Managing customer and supplier relationships
  • Claims for key accounts
  • Managing technical specifications
  • Supplier approval and auditing
  • Conducting self-audit questionnaires for suppliers
  • Internal audits
  • Specifications building
  • Sample collecting and producing
  • Non-conformance reporting and trending

The Ideal Candidate

For this role, you will be ideally educated to a degree level in food science, food technology, or a food safety-related discipline.

Food-related industry experience (preferably from within the meat industry), auditing/QA experience, and experience of the BRC audit process are essential.

Willingness to travel throughout the UK and overseas is required.
