We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our Construction team at MWH Treatment, based at East Leake STW.
As a Site Engineer, you will report directly to the Site Manager and be responsible for providing setting out and quality control services to ensure that the contract works are constructed to the specification in a safe and efficient manner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting out the works and ensuring compliance with the specification and drawings.
- Checking site work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Agreeing site measurements and records with the client's staff.
- Maintaining drawing files, drawing register, and site filling system.
- Liaising with the design department to ensure updated information is used.
- Taking off quantities from drawings for measurement purposes.
- Assisting in the preparation of construction completion documentation.
- Ensuring quality records are maintained and works are constructed to a good standard.
- Ensuring compliance with current legislation, company health & safety policy, procedures, and safe working practices.
- Establishing good communication lines with site staff.
- Leading by example in terms of safety behaviors.
