Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Locum Registered Veterinary Nurse to support our operations in South London. This role provides significant flexibility with the option of working between 2 to 5 shifts each week, adhering to a Monday to Friday timetable.
Key Duties:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to hospitalized animals and assist with their daily treatments.
- Aid veterinarians during consultations, surgical procedures, and other medical interventions.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and vaccinations as directed.
- Keep accurate patient records and maintain a hygienic clinical environment.
- Effectively communicate with pet owners and provide guidance on pet care.
Qualifications:
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with current registration from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- At least 2 years of experience in veterinary nursing.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to animal care and client interactions.
- Willingness to adapt to varying shift patterns.
