About the Role

People Solutions Group is seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 Driver to join our client's team in Birmingham. This opportunity offers competitive pay rates and the chance to contribute to a well-established organization.

Your Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate Class 2 vehicles for deliveries.
  • Conduct thorough fifteen-minute vehicle checks before each shift.
  • Handle goods manually, utilizing tail lift equipment when necessary.
  • Maintain clear communication with site personnel and management.
  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly.
  • Be prepared for occasional overnight stays.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid UK Category C Driving Licence.
  • No more than three points on your driving licence for minor infringements.
  • No major driving endorsements (DD, DR etc.).
  • Current CPC & Digi Card.
  • Minimum of six months Class 2 driving experience.
  • Proven experience operating a tail lift on a Class 2 vehicle.
  • Previous experience with handballing goods.

Desirable Experience

  • Over twelve months of experience as a Class 2 Driver.
  • Experience in delivering goods to various locations.
