Salary: Up to £75,000 + benefits
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Marks Sattin (UK) Ltd. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for leading the month-end reporting, consolidation of company accounts, cash flow forecasting, profit and loss analysis, and assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the month-end reporting process to ensure accurate and timely financial information
- Consolidate company accounts and prepare financial statements
- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to inform business decisions
- Analyze profit and loss statements to identify areas for improvement
- Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Present key financial information to senior management to inform strategic decisions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors and banking partners
- Lead the development and improvement of financial processes, controls, and systems
- Manage a small finance team to ensure effective and efficient operations
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a strong academic background
- Developed technical accounting skills with experience in a business services organisation
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to partner with all areas of the business
