Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Pharmacy Technician - Clinical Services Lead, you will play a key role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical services to our patients and contributing to the development of our clinical pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of our clinical pharmacy services, including the implementation of medicines management policies and procedures.
  • Provide a high-quality pharmaceutical service to inpatients, including the preparation and dispensing of medicines, and the provision of patient information and education.
  • Lead and supervise other staff as requested, including the production of weekly rotas and workload organization.
  • Ensure that requests for new medicines are processed according to medicines management policies and procedures, and that goods are ordered, stored, and distributed according to defined procedures.
  • Participate in a recognised medicines management course to develop your knowledge and understanding of clinical pharmacy.
