Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly cleaning and preparing guest accommodations, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintaining cleanliness in shared facilities, including restrooms and showers, to guarantee a pleasant stay.
- Keeping common areas and reception tidy, fostering a friendly environment for all.
- Executing housekeeping tasks efficiently while adhering to established cleanliness standards.
- Utilizing and storing cleaning supplies responsibly, in line with sustainability practices.
- Reporting maintenance issues to management to uphold safety and comfort.
- Managing linen distribution to ensure guest satisfaction.
Desired Skills and Experience:
While prior experience in customer service or hospitality is advantageous, it is not mandatory. We value good communication skills and effective time management. A collaborative spirit and understanding of YHA's mission are beneficial. Please note that the role may involve physical tasks, including managing bunk beds.
