About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Team Leader to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our payroll team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless payroll processing for our colleagues across the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the payroll process for 35,000 colleagues across 43 payrolls, including 5 Offshore payrolls with monthly pay cycles.
  • Ensure the team meets critical deadlines and maintains high-quality standards.
  • Promote best practices and keep our colleagues at the centre of everything we do.
  • Provide training on payroll processing and legislative changes, monitor team performance, and support their professional development.
  • Identify trends in payroll queries and collaborate with key stakeholders to resolve issues at their source.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guidance and support within the team and across the business.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced Payroll Team Leader who has a proven track record of managing high-volume payrolls. You will have a strong understanding of payroll, benefits, and relevant legislation, with knowledge of offshore regulations being advantageous.
