Job Overview
We are looking for a full-time Senior Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry to become a vital part of our team at Dorothy Pattison Hospital. This position encompasses responsibilities on in-patient wards as well as in community settings, emphasizing the Continuity of Care approach. The ideal candidate will work alongside a collaborative team, offering sectorized services to the southern region of the borough.
Key Responsibilities
This role presents avenues for leadership and innovation in enhancing service delivery and fostering partnerships with general practitioners and primary care entities. There is robust support for medical staff involvement in Medical Management, along with opportunities to mentor postgraduate psychiatric and GP trainees. The successful candidate will engage in a full-time role structured around a 10 PA Job Plan.
