Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop highly reliable mechanical designs for wireless hardware products from conception to mass production.
  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to architect mechanical products for robustness, reliability, and scalability.
  • Drive technical excellence and contribute to a culture of innovation within the organization.
  • Work closely with the team to identify and remove impediments, ensuring seamless problem-solving and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Strong technical background in mechanical engineering, with experience in manufacturing or industrial product design.
  • Significant experience in designing, testing, and validating full mechanical designs.
  • Experience in managing third-party design, test, and validation of mechanical designs.
  • Ability to improve product quality and processes, particularly in manufacturing and test jigs.
  • Experience in engineering for cost and ownership or maintenance of a Mechanical BOM.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to bring people along and encourage development at all levels.
  • Comfortable operating in a startup environment, prioritizing ruthlessly and wearing different hats to deliver results.
  • Customer and product-focused, with a strong sense of what 'great' looks like.
