We are seeking an exceptional Cloud Data Platforms Pre-sales Solution Lead to join our Solutions team within Cloud & Applications at Computacenter. As part of our journey to become Europe's leading independent provider of IT services, we empower our customers to leverage greater insight from their Data assets, acquire Developer Velocity, and successfully adopt Public Cloud.

The Cloud & Applications Business

We help customers build world-class software solutions, leverage Data & AI to drive effective decision-making, and provision cloud platforms to power their business forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work independently and alongside our Solution Sales Specialists and Account Managers to identify, qualify, and progress complex transformation opportunities in the field of Cloud Data Platforms.
  • Help position technologies from leading industry partners, alongside Computacenter's core catalogue of Professional Services and Portfolio of Services for Cloud Data Platforms.
  • Attend customer opportunity/strategy meetings to understand and articulate business and technical strategy for both Computacenter and the customer.
  • Build lasting relationships with key stakeholders at identified customers, becoming a trusted advisor on technical strategy.
  • Understand and be an expert internally for our core Data & Cloud go-to-market propositions and advocate for these amongst the sales community.
  • Support the growth of the Cloud & Applications Solution Area and delivery against its sales targets.
  • Help represent the voice of the customer into internal forums to develop our Portfolio of Service offerings where requested, and in support of the Solution Area Director.
  • Represent Computacenter at partner boards and forums, attend relevant events and conferences, and act as a point of technical escalation within the business, ensuring that this knowledge is shared across the business.

Secondary Responsibilities and Opportunities

  • Help influence the development of Data & Cloud propositions and strategy of the Cloud & Applications Solution Area, working alongside our Group development colleagues and the Office of the CTO.
  • Engage within a broad virtual team across Computacenter comprising Professional Services, Group Managed Services, Solution Leaders, and Architects to help customers access and procure key technology solutions and services.
  • Provide proposition and market insight to the Solution Sales Specialist within customer opportunities for both new and core Solutions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in owning customer relationships from a technology perspective.
  • Experience in selling compelling and innovative Data & Cloud customer solutions.
  • Ability to identify commercial opportunities within Data & Cloud technologies.
  • Experience with helping customers procure Professional Services offerings, alongside Technology Solutions.
  • Specialisms in either technology areas, such as Cloud Data Platforms, or key technology vendors, such as Snowflake, Databricks, WEKA, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
