Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality education to students with Severe Learning Difficulties in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting.
- Employing effective teaching strategies that foster student engagement and learning.
- Maintaining high expectations for both personal performance and student outcomes.
- Utilizing strong communication skills to connect with students and collaborate with colleagues.
- Implementing communication methods such as Makaton, TEACCH, PECS, Intensive Interaction, and Attention Autism.
- Demonstrating a genuine passion for inclusive education and commitment to student development.
Qualifications:
- A formal teaching qualification recognized in the UK, such as QTS/PGCE or equivalent, along with a robust understanding of the curriculum.
