Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Design Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a Maintenance Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in the delivery and assurance of maintenance derivation work, maintenance task analysis, level of repair analysis, and maintenance tasks instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and input for maintenance design and documentation, leveraging your experience as a Royal Navy Submariner.
  • Support stakeholder engagement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver maintenance design solutions.
  • Develop and provide estimates for the scope of work and resources required, supporting bids, proposal development, and project planning activities.
  • Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Apply a clear understanding of the Quality and SH&E Management System documentation, ensuring adherence to process instructions, workmanship standards, and risk assessments.

Requirements:

  • Background as a Royal Navy Submariner in either a Marine or Weapons Engineering capacity.
  • Extensive domain knowledge of Royal Navy Submarine systems and their operations and/or maintenance.
  • Knowledge of the engineering lifecycle and how support activities align to it.
