Job Description

Wipro is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Engineer with expertise in Proofpoint solutions to fill a critical role in our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and Deploy Proofpoint Solutions: Implement, integrate, and manage Proofpoint security solutions, including email security, data loss prevention (DLP), threat protection, and information protection.
  • Regularly Update and Optimize Proofpoint Configurations: Adapt to evolving threat landscapes and organizational needs by regularly updating and optimizing Proofpoint configurations.
  • Data Security and Privacy: Design and enforce policies and procedures to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct Regular Risk Assessments and Vulnerability Scans: Identify potential security risks and implement mitigation strategies through regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Ensure data security requirements are integrated into new projects and existing systems by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure Compliance with Industry Standards and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to data security and cybersecurity.
  • Threat Intelligence and Incident Response: Analyze threat intelligence to anticipate and mitigate potential cyber threats targeting the organization, and participate in or lead incident response activities related to email security breaches or data loss events.
  • Document Processes and Configurations: Document processes, configurations, and changes to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity within the team.
Requirements
  • Experience in Data Security, Cybersecurity, or a Related Field: Some years of experience in data security, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Hands-on Experience with Proofpoint Implementations: Hands-on experience with Proofpoint implementations, specifically in a cloud-based environment, such as Microsoft 365, and proficiency in Python and PowerShell.
  • Ability to Add Value to Wider Projects: Ability to add value to wider projects where Proofpoint may provide or have some crossover.
