Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Geography Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in the Geography department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with mixed abilities and contributing to the creation of engaging lessons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teaching staff in delivering Geography lessons to students in Years 7-11
  • Support the planning and preparation of lessons, incorporating subject knowledge to create exciting and interactive learning experiences
  • Work closely with teachers to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to enhance student progress
  • Provide individualized support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential
Requirements
  • Minimum of a 2:1 degree in a Geography-related subject from a top UK university
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of the department
  • Passion for Geography and a commitment to delivering high-quality education
