We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Fazenda Manchester. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and that the kitchen runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and cooking of food to ensure that it meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that we are operating within budget.
  • Ensure that all health and safety and food safety legislation is complied with.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and to improve existing dishes.
  • Contribute to the development of the kitchen team, providing training and support to help them reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Supervisor or in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health and safety legislation.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to contribute to the success of the kitchen.
