We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our client, a growing firm of chartered accountants based in the South-East. As a key hire, you will play a crucial role in driving the firm's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee audit engagements to ensure accurate and timely completion, maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
  • Direct and supervise audit teams to deliver exceptional audit and assurance services, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement audit plans and strategies that align with client needs, staying up-to-date with financial regulations and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, maintaining the firm's reputation for integrity and expertise.
  • Provide valuable insights to clients on financial performance and operational efficiency, building strong relationships and driving business growth.
  • Contribute to the development and training of junior team members, mentoring and coaching to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Professional qualification in Accounting or Finance, such as ACCA or ACA.
  • Proven experience in audit within the business services industry, with a strong understanding of auditing standards and financial regulations.
