Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. This role involves providing essential support to a student with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the student on a one-to-one basis to facilitate their learning and development.
  • Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviors and promote positive interactions.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Utilize previous experience in supporting children with special educational needs, including but not limited to ASD, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar role or relevant child-related experience is essential.
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques is highly desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to the individual needs of the student and demonstrate commitment to their progress.
