We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support to a student with ADHD in an educational setting, implementing individualised learning plans to meet the specific needs of the student.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support to a student with ADHD, assisting with academic tasks and classroom activities
  • Implement individualised learning plans to meet the specific needs of the student
  • Support the student in developing social skills and managing behaviour
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Understanding of ADHD and strategies to support students with this condition
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • First Aid certification
  • Mental Health First Aid training
Working Conditions:
  • Work in an educational setting with a focus on supporting students with SEN
  • Full-time hours with occasional flexibility required
  • Collaboration with teachers, parents, and external professionals
  • Potential exposure to challenging behaviours
