Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to join our team at Asda. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for placing point-of-sale (POS) materials in designated areas of the store to support various brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Sign into the store and introduce yourself to key store contacts
- Liaise with store colleagues to locate previously delivered POS materials
- Place POS materials in pre-arranged sections of the store, using a stepladder as needed
Requirements
- Ability to work every Wednesday evening/Thursday morning to complete visits
- Availability to work between 8pm Wednesday and 8am Thursday (hours may vary week-to-week)
- Ownership of a smartphone (Android or Apple) to report visits in-store
- Comfortable placing POS materials at height using a stepladder
- Proficiency in using and navigating app-based systems
- Ability to work in-store, navigating around the store and potentially moving heavier boxes of POS or stock
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
