Workshop Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Workshop Operative to join our team at our clients branch in Edinburgh. As a Workshop Operative, you will play a crucial role in providing installation, maintenance, and support for our company's multi-functional devices, including photocopiers and printers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily workshop activities, ensuring efficient and effective operation of equipment
  • Provide installation, maintenance, and support for multi-functional devices, including pre-delivery inspections and setup
  • Contribute to refurbishment works on machines, ensuring they are in optimal working condition
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Previous technical workshop experience, preferably in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to receive training and develop skills in working with copier and print devices

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary, rising to £24,000 after probation
  • A Monday – Friday dayshift position, starting at 8.00am
