Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our award-winning team as a Kitchen Assistant. As a key member of our catering function, you will play a vital role in supporting the safe production of beverages and meals for our residents.
Your focus will be on maintaining a clean environment, ensuring high standards of hygiene, and contributing to team working. You will also be responsible for advising on the supply and quality of items used in the kitchen, as well as acting with respect and dignity towards our residents and their visitors.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene. You should also have knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
Our ideal candidate will be an efficient worker, capable of sustained physical effort, and able to respond to a demanding workload. You will also need to demonstrate initiative, a positive and flexible attitude to team working, and a caring and understanding approach towards our residents.

Please note that this role will require a DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
