Salary: Up to £43,899 including roster premium and enhancements, depending on experience.
Harwich International Port is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering Department. As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on heavy plant and machinery equipment, including linkspans, bridges, material handling equipment, and electrical installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake engineering operations to alter and modify heavy plant, machinery, equipment, and commercial vehicles.
- Ensure that all engineering operations enhance equipment safety, performance, availability, and reliability.
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.
- Provide an on-call service outside of rostered shift times and support Operations by providing excellent engineering services.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 Qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds) or ONC in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
- The ability to analyse and diagnose complex faults from limited data and history.
- Full UK driving licence.
