Position Overview: The Estimating Manager for Envevo is tasked with the critical responsibility of supervising the formulation of cost projections and financial plans for construction and civil engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates and budgets for various construction projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze project specifications and ensure estimates meet company standards.
- Lead a team of estimators, providing mentorship and guidance to enhance performance and accuracy.
- Utilize advanced estimating software and tools to improve the precision of cost assessments.
- Conduct thorough reviews of project plans and documentation to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risks through detailed project analysis.
- Engage with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Prepare and deliver detailed estimation reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in managing teams and delivering precise cost estimates.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
