Position: HGV Class 1 Trunk Driver

Location: Yeovil

Employment Type: Temporary Contract

Working Hours: Monday to Friday with 1300 starts

Compensation: £17.37 per hour

MDE Consultants is seeking dedicated HGV Class 1 Trunk Drivers to become part of our client's well-established team in the Yeovil region.

Role Overview:

Engage in Class 1 hub runs, ensuring efficient transport operations.

Occasional shunting duties may be required at the hub during unloading.

Assistance with unloading at the hub is very rarely necessary.

Candidate Requirements:

Strong understanding of tachograph regulations and working time directives.

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.

Exhibit excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications:

Possession of a UK HGV Class 1 Licence with a preference for candidates with 2 years of experience.

A maximum of 6 penalty points with no serious endorsements (DD/DG/DR/IN/TT/CD/UT).

Valid Tachograph card.

Valid CPC certification.
