About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Test Automation Analyst to join our team at Certas Energy UK Ltd in Norwich. As a key member of our software delivery team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create comprehensive test strategies for product deliveries, working closely with the development team to plan, design, and develop automated test cases.
  • Prepare and maintain automation test plans and scripts, executing required tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Implement automated regression testing to identify and resolve defects early in the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce testing and test automation into the development workflow, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for testing, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Prepare and execute new functionality manual tests, working closely with the development team to ensure that software meets the stated requirements.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in automation and manual software testing, with a proven track record of defining and executing test scripts.
  • Experience working in an agile environment, with a strong understanding of automation testing principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as JavaScript, and REST libraries, with experience in API testing and CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Commercial awareness and self-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
