Travail Employment Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join their team in Bradford Centre.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Fitter to work on interesting machinery build and repair projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of manufacturing mechanical systems to drawings, undertaking repair, maintenance, test and installation of systems as required, and working to set production targets and SOP's.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacturing mechanical systems to drawings
  • Undertaking repair, maintenance, test and installation of systems as required
  • Working to set production targets and SOP's
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults and technical problems
  • Working in line with H & S and ensuring equipment is calibrated and safe
  • Undertaking plastic pipe fitting working to P & ID drawings
Requirements:
  • Proven mechanical fitting experience in a workshop environment
  • The ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
  • Proven mechanical background in commercial or Industrial installations
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings, layout and General Assembly
  • Work to a high quality level and be able to undertake equipment testing
  • Experience with pipework or poly prop fusion of interest but not essential
What We Offer:
  • Working hours are 7.30-4pm Monday to Thursday with 3pm finish on Fridays
  • Regular overtime available and paid at 1.5x's over 39 hours and on sat morning, 2x's paid Saturday afternoon and Sunday
  • 28 days holiday (increasing with length of service) + day off for your birthday (given the Friday before if your birthday falls on a weekend) + Christmas shutdown
