About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Adult Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic care and support to individuals with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs
  • Assist residents in their daily lives, promoting independence and autonomy
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Monitor and record patient conditions, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
  • Support residents in accessing community activities and hobbies

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months experience of working in a social care setting
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
  • A desire to create positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
