Paediatrician Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Paediatrician to join our team as an Associate Specialist Community Paediatrician. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative service, providing high-quality care to children with neurological and developmental issues.

• Lead in or contribute to the assessment and management of children with developmental delay and disability within the Violet pathway.
• Work within the Indigo MDT Diagnostics service, providing medical advice and contributing to holistic multidisciplinary and multiagency management plans.
• Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with national guidelines and best practice.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other professionals to develop and improve services, ensuring a seamless and effective patient experience.
• Contribute to research and audit opportunities, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve patient outcomes.

• Full GMC qualifications and registration.
• Experience of working in a community setting, preferably in paediatrics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
