About the Role

GAP Pump Services is a leading provider of dewatering and sewerage pump solutions, offering advice, servicing, maintenance, and repair for a wide range of applications. We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Load, deliver, and collect rental pump equipment from customer sites in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure safe and responsible driving practices at all times, adhering to legal regulations.
  • Provide on-site demonstrations of hire equipment to customers.
  • Accurately complete all relevant checks and administrative tasks associated with equipment hire.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Significant experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, handling the loading, delivery, and collection of equipment to customer sites.
  • A full UK HGV Class 2 driving licence and a valid Digital Tachograph card are essential requirements.
  • Ideally, you will hold a HIAB or ADR licence, although this is not mandatory.
  • A strong understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines diligently in the workplace.
  • Excellent customer service skills and meticulous attention to detail.
