Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Early Years Educator to join our team at Bright Horizons Tytherington Nursery. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our children.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of early years professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
- Develop and implement engaging learning programs that meet the individual needs of each child.
- Ensure the nursery environment is safe, healthy, and stimulating, with a focus on promoting children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment for all children and staff.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and policies related to early years education and care.
Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working within an early years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, or similar.
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and relevant legislation.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and wider legislative requirements for working with children.
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults.
