We're seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our expanding Electrical Design Department. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in coordinating and delivering complex electrical engineering projects, working closely with technical lead engineers, design engineers, and project managers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding project specifications and creating project scopes, defining component selection, costs, and timings.
  • Developing and maintaining project and system requirements, specifications, and RASIC documents.
  • Collaborating with Electrical, Powertrain, and Chassis groups to ensure distributed systems and system integration requirements are met.
  • Managing procurement activities, including supplier management, communication with BOM controllers, and internal procurement teams.
  • Assisting with systems design, engineering effective systems to meet a wide range of functionality requirements.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Engineering, ideally in an electrical discipline.
  • Proven experience in high-end motorsport/F1, aeronautical electrical design.
  • Experience gathering and understanding project requirements, creating requirements and specification documents, and generating engineering reports.
  • Ability to create and maintain project plans using MS Project.
  • Experience performing FMEA analysis, verification of designs to legislative requirements, and validation through simulation and testing.
