Job Summary
As a Laboratory Technician at Arla Foods Aylesbury, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our dairy products.
Key Responsibilities
\t- Conduct chemical and microbiological analysis of raw materials, manufacturing process, and finished goods
\t - Perform micro analysis of samples as per specified methods
\t - Ensure all quality and food safety checks are carried out satisfactorily
\t - Control of the Non-conformance data base
\t - Control Training Matrix and ensure all trainings are up to date
\t - Ensure all Laboratory Documents are up to date
\t - Ensure compliance against laboratory standards and procedures
\t - Ensure raw materials & chemicals used within laboratory are within acceptable date criteria
\
Requirements
\t- Practical experience of Good Laboratory Practices
\t - Microbiology testing experience is preferred but not essential
\t - Ability to interact with multiple levels within the business as well as with external contractors
\t - PC literate with the ability to interpret analytical and microbiological data
\t - Working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
\t - Ability to work on the shift pattern (12h day shift including weekends and Bank holidays)
