Our client, a leading distributor of products to the UK's catering industry, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Administrator to join their team at Staffbase Recruitment Ltd.
This is an exciting new position for a candidate with previous sales administration or customer service experience who wants to progress their career in a sales-focused role.
The Role:
The Sales Administrator will provide administrative support to the sales team, undertaking tasks such as:
- Processing sales orders and customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
- Inputting sales orders onto the company's computer system
- Coordinating sales order processing and ensuring seamless communication with internal departments and customers
- Updating the company's MRP/ERP systems as required
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in sales administration or customer service, preferably in the manufacturing and distribution sectors
- Excellent administration skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and MRP/ERP systems
