Job Summary:
Hunter Savage is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Auditor to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and scheduled quality audits on products, processes, and production areas to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Inspect raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to verify compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Monitor and verify compliance with food safety regulations, including hygiene practices and sanitation procedures.
- Document and report on audit findings, quality issues, and non-conformances.
- Work closely with production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Review and maintain quality records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and guidelines.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement in product quality and process efficiency.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the food manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations, quality standards, and auditing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility to work evening shifts.
- Relevant qualifications in food science, quality management, or a related field are advantageous.
