Requirements

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant - Special Educational Needs. The successful candidate will have experience of working with children with special educational needs and be committed to raising standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a minimum Level 2 qualification in a relevant field, and be flexible, enthusiastic, and motivated. They will also be committed to championing children to succeed and want to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to work in collaboration with class teachers, work under the direction of the Assistant Head Teacher for Inclusion, contribute to records kept on pupil progress, discuss how children cope with their work with the SEND team managers, Assistant Head Teacher for Inclusion, and class teachers, and cater for the personal needs of children with SEND.
