About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Draughtsman/Façade Designer to join our team at Clear Line Limited in Sheffield.

As a specialist façade installation and remediation Principal Contractor, we have over 25 years of experience in the industry, focusing on the design, supply, installation, refurbishment, and maintenance of curtain walling & cladding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed plans, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD software.
  • Annotate drawings using AutoCAD software.
  • Undertake material take-offs using either AutoCAD or Microsoft software.
  • Produce fabrication drawings using AutoCAD software.
  • Collaborate closely with the project Lead Designer.
  • Attend site visits (as required) to understand project requirements.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years' experience in a construction design/draughting role.
  • Knowledge of cladding and rainscreen systems.
  • Familiarity with EWI render systems.
  • Understanding of building regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and 2D industry software.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Ability to meet deadlines set out by the project programme requirements.
  • Knowledge of BIM.
  • Experience with Revit.
  • HNC level qualification or above in a construction or engineering-related subject.
