Senior Specialist Dental Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist Dental Nurse to join our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Lister Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our department's standards of care.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide leadership and guidance to the dental nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with the Nurse Team Manager to develop and implement evidence-based practice, ensuring the department remains at the forefront of oral and maxillofacial surgery care.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
* Participate in audit and research activities, contributing to the improvement of patient care and outcomes.

**Requirements:**

* GDC registration and evidence of ongoing professional development.
* Significant experience in caring for patients requiring oral maxillofacial surgery.
* Leadership training and development, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of current developments in pre and post-registration nursing, with a focus on risk management, health and safety, and clinical governance.
