Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Specialist Support Nurses and contributing to the development of the Learning Disability/Mental Health Nurse services. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced nurse to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with complex disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Specialist Support Nurses in delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex needs.
  • Contribute to the development of the Learning Disability/Mental Health Nurse services, ensuring they meet the needs of service users.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance and improve outcomes for individuals with complex disabilities.
  • Manage a caseload and prioritize tasks effectively, using excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Have a good working knowledge of IT applications and be able to work independently.
Requirements:
  • Hold a recognized Learning Disability Nursing/Mental Health Degree Qualification (or equivalent).
  • Be a registered member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Demonstrate experiential training and highly specialist skills.
  • Have a successful track record of enhancing and improving outcomes for individuals with complex disabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
