This role is with a distinguished and thriving Real Estate firm known for its strong brand presence in the industry and currently experiencing a phase of significant expansion. As a vital member of the Finance department, you will report directly to the Finance Director. This segment of the finance team is essential in facilitating bid and lease pricing while collaborating closely with the sales divisions. The Senior Commercial Finance Analyst will partner with the commercial team to deliver financial modeling and analytical insights for the organization’s new business initiatives. This position requires an individual who excels at building relationships with diverse stakeholders throughout the organization and is skilled in performing various financial analyses to support Real Estate transactions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the commercial team to create financial models and conduct commercial analysis for our new business initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Perform financial modeling – execute various types of financial analyses (Cash flow, P&L, NPV, etc.) to support real estate transactions.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing on customized models in partnership with commercial managers to guide our business development teams and clients.
  • Provide advice, challenge assumptions, and influence decisions in areas requiring financial judgment or expertise.
  • Review lease agreements to ensure that financial underwriting accurately reflects the commercial stance of the real estate transactions.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with a background in a commercial finance capacity.
  • Proficient in Excel for financial analysis, with expertise in functions such as Index Match, Sum Ifs, and a solid understanding of Pivot Tables, alongside financial modeling experience.
  • Experience in a multicurrency financial environment.
  • Ability to understand and advise on the commercial ramifications of decisions and options.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting with shifting priorities.
  • Prior experience in pricing and supporting RFPs and tenders from a commercial viewpoint.
