About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a critical role in the delivery of complex engineering projects, working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall operational and strategic management of assigned tasks and projects within your project team.
  • Deliver end-to-end project lifecycle management, including requirement capture, scoping, technical and commercial solutions, and pricing models.
  • Manage risk exposure and ensure effective risk management throughout the project.
  • Apply effective change management to balance flexibility with robust commercial agreements.
  • Define acceptance criteria and produce professional handover documentation to ensure timely close-out of milestones and projects.
  • Identify, review, and apply lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Considerable experience in advanced project management techniques in a relevant technical project environment.
  • Experience working in the Defence and Security sector is highly desirable.
  • Experience leading and managing a team of project staff, providing direction and motivation.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of projects with differing demands and deadlines.
  • Strong financial management skills to ensure high profitability on projects.
