Key Responsibilities- Provide visible clinical leadership and professional direction to the nursing team on a day-to-day basis.
- Plan, allocate, supervise, and evaluate working practices of the team on a shift-by-shift basis.
- Ensure the care, welfare, and safety of all patients are maintained at the highest possible standard.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, ensuring their needs are understood and met with dignity and respect.
- Liaise effectively with external suppliers and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Monitor and develop the performance of support workers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Act as a mentor and preceptor to students, support workers, and healthcare assistants, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team working, risk assessment management, and ongoing clinical improvement initiatives.
- Provide written nursing reports for statutory and clinical review processes.
- Undertake clinical supervision to further develop competence and clinical practice.
- A current NMC Pin registration, with at least 4 years' experience in a similar environment.
- A legal right to work in the UK.
