About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our Actuarial Systems team at Just Group. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and maintenance of actuarial systems, models, and tools used by the Actuarial Department.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in actuarial modeling and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for producing, checking, and reviewing model runs, as well as identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the team's efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain actuarial models and systems to support business requirements
- Collaborate with the actuarial reporting team to ensure accurate and timely model runs
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
- Work closely with the wider systems team to resolve issues and improve overall system performance
Requirements
- Member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) with good progress on exams
- Experience working in a life insurer or pension provider
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Actuarial modeling software development experience desirable
