About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist registered practitioners in providing compassionate care and assistance to patients and their carers.
  • Carry out tasks delegated by registered practitioners, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
  • Comply with the Trust's vision, values, and behavioural compact.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Maths and English at level 1 or above (GCSE A E or equivalent).
  • Substantive customer services experience or experience of working in a caring role (paid or unpaid).
  • Ability to communicate messages and instructions accurately to colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate good customer care skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, patients, carers, and visitors.
  • Basic skills of empathy and reassurance.
  • Basic keyboard and IT skills.
