Job Summary:

Gregory Distribution is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Night Trunk Driver to join our team. As a Class 1 Night Trunk Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods from Ernesettle to pallet network hubs in the West Midlands and reloading back to Ernesettle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trunking from Ernesettle to pallet network hubs in the West Midlands and reloading back to Ernesettle
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring load security
  • Completing daily vehicle checks on company phones
  • Working closely with network hubs and transport teams
  • Managing customer expectations and providing excellent customer service
  • Attending regular training sessions

Requirements:

  • Must have a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience of curtain-side trailers is preferred but not essential
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Working to deadlines
  • Confident, polite, and a team player
  • Good geographical knowledge
