Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cardiac catheterisation laboratory, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are in good working order.
  • Support the cardiac catheterisation team in the performance of procedures, including angioplasty and stenting.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide vital signs and other necessary information to the medical team.
  • Assist in the recovery of patients after procedures, ensuring that they are comfortable and receiving the necessary care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to cardiac catheterisation.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a cardiac catheterisation laboratory.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
