Job Title: Lead Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Test Engineer to join our team at Saur EUROPE. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the installation and testing of our specialist monitoring and testing equipment for hydraulic systems, including pumps, fans, and hydraulic networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of 2-3 people in the installation and testing of our equipment
  • Network with the wider technical teams to satisfy cross-disciplinary projects
  • Be respectful, polite, and professional with customers, colleagues, and the community
  • Ability to work autonomously and at times work unsupervised while always following all health and safety protocols
  • Customer interfacing and health and safety duties
  • Carry out site surveys to scope new work and help with planning and authorization

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience in hydraulic, mechanical, process, or similar engineering discipline
  • Time-served apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Level 3 BTEC in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Understanding of engineering disciplines and technologies relating to the Water/Pumping Industry
  • Proven experience in a role in which you contributed to the overall success with tangible output demonstrable
  • IT skills in MS365, particularly Excel
  • Driving Licence
